We receive, collect and store any information you enter on our website or provide us in any other way.

When an order is placed via one of our websites we collect the following personally identifiable information

1.2 How do we collect this data?

This data is supplied to The Card and Favour Company.co.uk Ltd  at the checkout process via PayPal. We receive the details you select at the time of ordering. Information is then stored on our website account, so we can dispatch your parcel to the correct address. We also receive an email from PayPal confirming a purchase has been made and the address you have requested we send the items to.

1.3 Why do we collect this data?

We collect such non-personal and personal information for the following purposes;

  • To provide and operate services
  • To provide our users with ongoing customer assistance and technical support
  • To be able to contact our visitors and users with general or personalised service related updates and promotional messages
  • To create statistical data which we may use to provide and improve our respective services
  • To comply with any applicable laws and regulations

So, we require your Full Name & Address so that we can send your parcel to the correct place of residence once it has been completed. We also ask for your email address, so we can get in touch with you should there be a problem or to send design previews of items should you require them.

Your data is not shared with or sold to any outside individuals.

We share your Full Name & Delivery Address with the delivery company you choose at the checkout process. For example; Royal Mail or DPD. This is so your parcel can be delivered to you.

2. Using Your Data for Marketing Purposes

2.1 Opting In

We require your permission to send any marketing or promotional emails. People must subscribe to our mailing list of their own volition in order for us to use the data you supply. If you do not your email address will never be used for this purpose.

2.2 Opting Out

If you subscribe to our mailing list but decide you would like to opt out of receiving further marketing emails you can unsubscribe at any time. There is a link on every one of our newsletters and promotional emails that will allow you to remove yourself from the mailing list. Once you have done so you will no longer receive marketing emails from The Card and Favour Company .co.uk Ltd unless you choose to resubscribe at a time in the future.

The information collected during the checkout process is stored on our website servers.

The Card and Favour Company and Ladies Festival Gifts websites are hosted through Create.net  Little Rose Birds is hosted through Big Cartel and Bridal Designs Wedding Jewellery is hosted through Rosierinter.net

they all employ strict security measures to ensure all of the data collected is secure;

 Your Full Name and Address are saved on shipping labels which are stored on our Dymo Label Printer which can only be accessed from our password protected desktop computer.

Devices in our possession that have access to our PayPal accounts, websites and Etsy Store are as follows;

Samsung S7 Mobile Device – PIN Security

We employ security measures on all of our devices to ensure data is stored securely.

3.2 Data stored as a hard copy

The only documents that are printed with your information present are those required for us to complete annual returns to HMRC and they are stored securely in locked filing cupboard..

4. Requesting a Copy of the Data we hold

You can request a copy of all the data we currently hold on file for you. We are legally required to provide this to you free of charge and within a month of the original request.

Making A Purchase
 
A minimum order applies for some products in our "favour and gifts"section and some DIY items. When a minimum order applies this is clearly stated in the product description.
 
We reserve the right to decide when a contract with a customer is formed. We are not bound to supply the goods ordered until the order is accepted by us. This does not affect your statutory rights.
 
Payment Terms
We accept most major credit/debit card payments online via paypal, personal cheque or postal orders by post or cash in person.

All online orders must be paid for in full at the time of ordering however because of the way the shopping basket works. 
 
Prices are effective from 1st May 2018. 

Materials
Whilst every effort is made to fulfill your order, should circumstances beyond our control and a supplier discontinues items needed to fulfill your order the card and favour company.co.uk Limited will inform you of any problem and a suitable alternative will be offered to you.


Health & Safety
Clients should be aware that some of our products and packaging are not suitable for small children and babies.

All confectionery is stored at cool temperature and only handled using food safe gloves.

All confectionery favours (where possible) carry a discrete nut or nut traces label.

For health and satety reasons we are unable to accept confectionery returns

Cancellation
Orders that are hand made and personalised to your requirements cannot be cancelled. 

Credit Card Security
Online payments are made via a secure online server.
  
Complaints
We pride ourselves in our customer care and we hope that you will be delighted by our products and services. However, in the unlikely event that you are unhappy with your order or the products received from the card and favour company.co.uk Limited then please contact us within 14 days of receipt of your order and we will do our best to rectify the situation.
 
Returns Policy
 
All stationery and favours/table gifts that are personalised and handmade to order can only be considered for a refund or replacement if the stationery/favours are faulty or do not meet the specifications of your order. In the unlikely event of a fault customers must notify us immediately on receipt of the order and return the items to us in the original packaging before any work will commence on replacement items. Postage is not refundable. This does not affect your statuary rights. For health and safety reasons we are unable to accept confectionery returns.
